About
Architecting Language Intelligence with NLP & LLM Engineering
Inside Director with a Ph.D. in NLP from Korea Maritime & Ocean University.
Over a decade at the intersection of language and machine learning —
from corpus construction, named entity recognition, and automated scoring to LLM prompt engineering.
Research Journey
Core Focus Areas
Three research and engineering pillars across NLP and AI.
NLP & Corpus Engineering
Korean morphological analysis and POS tagging, multilingual NER, and automatic generation of tagged corpora using relationship scores of multiple generative units. Includes the BIT NER scheme for low-resource languages.
Generative AI & LLM
Leading research on workflow optimization with LLM prompt engineering at MetaIntelligence. Applying generative AI to R&D trend analysis and researcher discovery.
Applied AI Systems
Built the Korean short-answer automated scoring system (3 registered patents). Contributed to indoor-positioning dataset validation and sonar image object recognition, among other applied AI systems.
Values
Principles I keep in research and collaboration.
Reproducibility First
I prioritize specifying corpora, evaluation metrics, and training procedures. Only reproducible results turn into follow-up research and industrial application.
Prompt Engineering & AI Agents
Researching automated report generation and analysis with prompt engineering and AI agent workflows — turning frontier LLM capabilities into production research tools.
Bridging Research & Industry
I pursue research that ships as something tangible — registered patents, deployed analysis tools, validated systems — not papers that gather dust.
